We have solved the problem of importing Word files. Within a week, we will place an update on this web site to allow our MegaDots version 2 customers have this feature wihtout having to pay for an update.
Please note: You must have a Windows 95/Windows 98/Windows NT system for the fix to work. It does NOT work on pure DOS or Windows 3.x systems.
In the meantime, we offer two approaches. One is to use the MEGAREAD utility program which is built into MegaDots 2.0. At the DOS prompt, type MEGAREAD (filename) <Enter>.
The other approach is to ask the person using Word to save in a different file format.
